I am getting there – Half Time is just days away. 50 years old.
Half Time in my life – what I consider the middle point, a time for soulful reflection and a focus on greater significance is almost here – as I turn the calendar of my life to the middle. My goal is to live to 100, so September 8th 2015 will mean Half Time in the game of life.
For the past few years I have spent time, invested time in myself, in order to share what I learn through these blogs. Most of the 400+ blogs on this page are lessons on personal growth and self-improvement – a few are personal stories, a few are silly – and nearly 80 of them are called The Sunday Series, stories of courage, hope and inspiration. (#80 coming this Sunday about my daughter Emily)
So as the days tick down to 50 I want to share my gift with you. I have decided to give back by posting links to some of what I consider the more important posts on this blog, five a day. One of my gifts is my ability to write and to touch someone else’s heart and perhaps share words, or meaning which might make you pause and take reflection on your own life – stop and think about what you are doing, or where you are going.
I begin today with these five, in no particular order, but most of them focused on what we all need to do more of: dream, visualize, go inside to change what happens outside – and find your why.
