The Sunday Series in Gratitude (3), with Mark Brodinsky

We’re all a part of God’s great big family,
And the truth, you know, love is all we need.
We are the world, we are the children. We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let’s start giving.
– Lyrics from We Are The World, by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie

Yes, it’s time to say thank you again to those who give.

Before the year really begins, (after all today is like a second New Year’s holiday right?), it’s time to reflect on all those from “God’s great big family” who have been bold enough to share their story of courage, hope or inspiration in The Sunday Series. I have been bestowed the honor of listening, of having them tell their story to me and then trusting me to write it and share it with the world. It’s a gift and a responsibility.

It is true as it says in the song lyrics above that “love is all we need” and I thank each and every one of the more than 130 people who have opened their hearts to share their story.  It’s you who make “a brighter day”, because after all, everyone has a story.

Links to every single one of The Sunday Series which have come before, (including a link to a compilation of the first 88 stories), is below. In 11 days we’ll mark the 4th anniversary of this blog, It’s Just About… Life & The Sunday Series. I am grateful for your support and to those I have interviewed and who have shared a piece of their soul with me, I am forever in your debt.

We are the world… and we thank you.

So let’s begin. I am a writer. My name is Mark Brodinsky and this is The Sunday Series.
