Everyone has one, don’t forget that and don’t be fooled into thinking someone with a great “front story” doesn’t have one either. We all do.
The question is do you stop long enough in your day to think about the fact that others have a back story, or are you so caught up in thoughts of your own challenges that you fail to recognize others struggles, which many times are below the surface, or out of your range of awareness since you don’t know them well enough.
Want to gain awareness? Then watch this video, I posted it before, many months ago, but it’s worth another look, because few lessons are learned with just one pass through. And it doesn’t mean you need to watch it over and over, but you might want to take one message from it and at least think about it over and over until you develop the deep humility and respect for every one you meet, because everyone has a back story.
The secret? Never forget that.
