Sometimes we don’t really notice, just how good it can get. So maybe we should start all over, start all over again. – Rob Thomas, lyrics from Someday
May I? Yes, you may and you should. As the calendar turns to May it’s time to make sure you too are ready to be in full bloom. Time to take stock and reach for some rebirth, if need be. There are no excuses. Actually there is one, it’s you.
It’s not the economy, it’s not your bank account, it’s not your job, it’s not your family, it’s not your friends, the ultimate responsibility falls squarely on your shoulders to recognize all your potential and not let anything, or anyone hold you back. And it’s OK to enjoy and relish in success, love and abundance and not feel like the other shoe must drop if you do so, or feel guilty because you are stealing the light from someone else.
We are all meant to shine, we are all equal, it’s just that some rise to the challenge of who they are, what talent and gifts they bring to the world and others never tap in, or realize too late. And if you try and fail, that’s OK too. There will always be another chance, until the end of your existence there is always another shot. If the journey continues, so should your desire to be all that you can be. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with failure, because it means you are at least doing something…AND it means you are that much closer to your goal. The other side of the coin is doing nothing, apathy, indecision, or paralysis. That is worse than failure.
So if you need to start over, do so. If you need help look for those who can help you, alive or even dead. Mentors, “frentors” and advocates are everywhere if you just ask, or read a book, listen to a CD, watch a video of someone who brings inspiration or education in present day or from the past.
It works. I know it works. You just have to do it. I’m happy to help. There is a right time to do it. There is a right time to begin. I know the secret to that time. It’s right now.
Time to bloom.
Until next time, thanks for taking the time.
