What Matters: It’s Just About… Life.

Sometimes it only takes a few sentences or a few seconds. Below is the sign I saw in a friend’s office this week:

“At the end of the day, what really matters? Not much. Really not much matters. At the end of the day if you smiled more than you frowned, laughed more than you cried, told your family and friends you loved them, and had a pretty good time doing what you do for a living, then it was a good day. Go to bed and say thanks.”

It’s a good quote to marinate on for the weekend and when the new work week begins (or if you are already at work today), then think about it before you close your eyes at night.

Sometimes it only takes a few sentences or a few seconds. Focus on gratitude to change your life. String those days together and see what is possible for you.

Until next time, thanks for taking the time.
